Val-Dieu Abbey cheese with natural rind 2.5kg

To find out more

Over the centuries, monks have gained a reputation for producing exceptional beers and cheeses.  The recipe for this cheese originates in the know-how developed in our abbeys.  Its rind is entirely natural.  It develops slowly during the ripening process in cellars.  A supple and smooth cheese develops from it.  It has a mild and slightly buttery taste.  Whether in cubes or slices, the Val-Dieu is an ideal accompaniment for aperitifs or sandwiches.  Children love this cheese.

Val-Dieu is available in blocks at good cheese shops and can also be found sliced or in small cubes in supermarkets, ready for an aperitif snack.
